So with the newly appointed Al Franken the democrats now have a Super Majority in the Us Senate. This means the Democrats will be able to theoretically pass anything they want. This is because they have can just pass a bill and have Obama sign it. I know this seems like a HUGE victory to the democrats but if you really think about it, its more of a burden. This is because now ALL of the responsibility falls directly on the Democrats. So yeah the BLAME is on YOU. So I would hurry up and fix all the problems so that you can claim victory, although we all know this won’t happen. I am wondering how long it will take the American public to finally get sick and tired of all the BS we are being fed. Maybe its because we rely on the Government to “do all be all” even though this isn’t the way it should be.

The government should have checks and balances and should be working for us. The way its structured now (and has been for years) we seem to be working for them. Did you know that the average work YEAR for a US congressman is 116 days of actual work? Now I don’t know about you but I work Monday through Friday and get 10 work days off for vacation, this means I work 250 days a year and that doesn’t include working on this site. This video will explain it all.

And did you know that the average US congressman / woman makes $174,000 and. Oh yeah by the way, They also vote on their own pay raises……. WHAT? So this means that they give THEMSELVES 3% which equals $5220. Again if you are like me I get a whopping 2% every year, this makes me sick and it should make you sick also (unless you are in Congress). It seems funny to me that the Congress asks you and me to “Tighten” our belts but have they? Of course not; why would they want to do that? So you see folks it’s up to you and me to get this stuff back on tract, this nonsense has gone to far and only we have the ability to fix it. It’s time the Government FEARS un and not us FEAR the government.

Every day the congress just makes me more appalled and I hope the little bit I do on a day to day basis to fight them will help.

Very interesting. I never knew and honestly make me upset that these guys only work 116 days of work and make that kind of wage. I can only image what they do when they actually work. Im sure its pass bills that are worthless.

Funny story just came to mind, When I was working at my last job doing Maintenance, I worked in an apartment community that was filled with Obama supporters. I never understood why they supported him so I asked? The ONLY reason they could give is that they wanted more money in assistance. These people NEVER, and I mean NEVER left the house to go to work. They all lived on assistance and where all ABLE to work. Granted there were a few that did work or have a real reason they couldn't work but I would say 75% were MILKING THE SYSTEM.Is this what America has come to? These people amazed me because they wanted to live like kings without doing the servants work (they wouldn't even clean the home they lived in).

I personally font want the money he is handing out. It comes with to steep a cost. I will go and earn y money the old fashioned way and earn it. And I think if more people would stand up and do the same we wouldn't be in this situation. Its the same old beggars that are still out begging for MORE,MORE,MORE.... I say the heck with that.IF I ever receive money from the US government its because I over paid them in taxes.

DENVER The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Monday that authorities violated the constitutional and privacy rights of suspected illegal immigrants when they used tax returns to try and build hundreds of identity theft cases against them. The 4-3 ruling affirmed a decision by a Weld County district judge who suppressed evidence against one of the defendants. In that case, investigators raided a tax business that catered to Latinos in Greeley, an agricultural city on the northern plains of Colorado with a heavily Hispanic population. The investigation, dubbed "Operation Numbers Game," marked the first and only time in the U.S. that authorities used tax returns, which are confidential under federal law, to prosecute suspected illegal immigrants. A favorable ruling for Weld County could have given prosecutors a new tool to find and prosecute illegal immigrants, who are required to pay taxes despite their legal status. Prosecutors in other states had expressed interest in the investigation, a prosecutor said. With Monday's ruling, the Supreme Court agreed with a district court judge who said authorities had gone on an "exploratory search" and had no probable cause to search the man's tax returns. The defendant was one of more than 70 people charged with criminal impersonation and identity theft. Some defendants pleaded guilty and were deported before the district court ruling. Prosecutors had dismissed more than 60 pending cases while they waited for the Supreme Court to rule, and the district attorney's office said it reserved the right to file charges again with a favorable ruling. "Obviously, I'm disappointed," said Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck, a Republican who is running for the U.S. Senate. "We have a serious identity theft problem in Weld County, we are trying to address it and this is a setback." Buck said he would not appeal to a federal court. Kevin Strobel, the head of the Greeley Public Defender's Office, said Monday's ruling shows that despite the heated political debate about illegal immigration, "there's still a constitutional framework for how authorities deal with that population and whether they've committed crimes or not." "They gotta play by the rules," he said. Weld County authorities launched their investigation after a Texas man told them his identity was being used by a Greeley resident. The suspect in that case told sheriff's investigators that he was filing taxes with Amalias' Translation and Tax Services. Investigators obtained a search warrant and seized thousands of tax documents from the business and used them to arrest dozens of people. The American Civil Liberties Union successfully sued on behalf of the business owner, saying the search of her property was illegal. An appeal in that case is pending with the Colorado Supreme Court. The identity theft investigation angered immigrant advocacy groups, including the National Immigration Law Center, which said the immigrants were following the law by paying taxes. Some of them said they hoped that doing so would help their chances of someday becoming permanent residents. Prosecutors had said they believed as many as 1,300 immigrants were breaking the law and that they planned to charge more people. In ruling against Buck's investigation, the Supreme Court ruled that the search warrant was flawed because it did not identify by name the people whose documents were to be inspected. That, Buck said, was impossible. "The problem with identity theft is that people are using false identities," Buck said. "So how do you know whose name is going to be on that file?"
